Regular Cleaning

Mmmarvellous will provide the client with a vetted insured housekeeper based on the client’s requirements. The minimum contract is either 2.5hrs weekly or 4hrs fortnightly. The housekeeper will aim to achieve all the work required within the time allotted.

 

Payment Terms:

The housekeeper is to be paid at the end of every cleaning session carried out and the HER (Housekeepers Earnings Receipt form) form must be completed accordingly. A quarterly retainer fee is payable by standing order to Mmmarvellous in advance for providing the housekeeper. The initial payment is payable within 3 weeks of the allocated housekeeper commencing work. The subsequent payment date will be calculated from the initial start date and monthly or quarterly thereafter.

 

Agency fees are refunded for consecutive periods of 4 weeks or more during which no cleaning is carried out.  Refunds must be claimed within 3 months of the housekeeper returning to work.  Refunds are not issued should the client decline a cover housekeeper for periods of less than 4 weeks . These hours maybe 'banked’ to use for a future date, however they must be used within a 6 month rolling period. The banked hours may be worked by the housekeeper to compensate for weeks where the cleaning has been missed.

 

If payment is not received within 14 days interest will start to be charged at 15% compounded daily until the payment has been received.

 

Mattress Cleaning:

A hygienic test will be carried out at the start of any mattress clean to ensure that a clean will be beneficial. An additional test will be carried out after the clean checking that the debris has been removed (some fluff or fibres from the mattress will be present).

 

For most clean, the mattress will be turned over to treat both sides. However, if the mattress can not be turned over or does not require to be turned, the time spent on the one side will be increased to ensure a complete clean.

Window Cleaning:

The window cleaner will carry out the window cleaning using the water-fed pole system and will leave the windows wet to dry naturally. No marks are left behind due to the purified water that has been used.

 

In the very rare occasion that you have residual markings, please contact the window cleaner within 48hrs informing him which windows are affected. Arrangements will be made to come back and remove those marks free of charge within 5 working days.

 

Pricing structure:

All of our quotes contain two figures, one being for the first clean – which has a minimum charge of £45 (plus VAT) and a subsequent price for regular cleaning.

 

In order to qualify for the regular cleaning price 3 additional cleans within 12 months of the first clean must be conducted.

 

The charge collected on the first clean will be offset against any subsequent cleans that take place within the regular cycle of every 4, 8 or 12 weeks.

 

The first clean is charged at a higher price due to the time spent on cleaning the frames and upfront additional costs.

 

Included in the cost are the frames and window ledges. Window ledges above the first floor will be difficult to clean due to the height and not being visible to the window cleaner.

Carpet Cleaning:

The carpet system used has an average drying time of 30 mins.

 

We can not guarantee 100% removal of all stains and spot marks, however each individually stain will be treated prior to the carpet being cleaned. If you know what has been split please inform the carpet cleaner.

 

Payment Terms:

 

Prices are based on the actual area that is cleaned and charged by the square metreage at £2.55 plus VAT and minimum price £45 plus VAT

Carpet & Upholstery Protection:

The Fibrerite protection acts like an umbrella to repel water and oil based spills on all synthetic and natural fibers.

 

Should a spill occur, use a cloth to absorb the fluid until the spill is removed. Do your best to not let the stain dry out, if necessary using a moist soapy cloth to dab the area.

Gutter Cleaning:

The SkyVac will remove debris that collects within the gutter and downpipes removing blockages and prevent overflowing rain. A video recording of the clean can be provided to the client if required.

INSURANCE:

Mmmarvellous has both Employers and Public liability cover.

 

Employers Liability limit is £10,000,000 & Public Liability limit is £2,000,000

 

In the event of an employee or housekeeper causing damage to a client’s property this must be reported within 24hrs to the office. The employee or housekeeper is required to verify the incident.

 

A visit from the office maybe required in certain instances.

 

The current excess on the insurance cover is £250, any claims under this amount are discretionary.

 

Should a claim been processed through the insurers the client is required to provide two different quotes for the works to be carried out. Mmmarvellous shall complete the appropriate paperwork and forward this direct to the insurers for their attention. Upon receipt of the forms the insurers will deal with the claim and contact/liaise directly with the client.
